Me and you and everyone we know

I watched a lovely, quirky and extremely brave film titled ' Me And You And Everyone We Know'. It was an endearing watch and there were so many points where I was chuckling at what was happening. The movie is about the connections that we try to make and do make; and the connections that we don't make; and the connections that we break. The characters are complex, human and imperfect but still very fresh. And all the actors deserve - especially the kids deserve a big applause for bringing to life the simplicity and complexities of being a human being.

Miranda July - the writer/diretor and star of the movie

This was a low budget HD movie - made for a budget of US$ 2 million on a Sony CineAlta. The visuals are pleasing, quirky and add so much to the story. It is another highly recommended movie - the title sounds funny and the cover of the DVD is not flash but the movie is top notch. And yeah if you get offended by sexual content easily than don't watch it - there is no nudity in the movie but it is the situations that it explores which some people might find offensive.

I got a couple more movies - which I will no doubt write about sometime soon. Other than that the only thing I would like to say is that all americans must be made to learn the language of any country they 'invade' - this is in response to an article which says that Mr. Bush's wants all newcomers to USA to learn English. I can understand that English is a common language but making it mandatory by law to learn English is just taking things a step too far. What's next???

Off to bed for now.
