Accessorize
Accessories are usually such a waste {atleast that's what I thought} but then I decided to get some accessories for my LX3 - a lens adaptor[to attach filters and different lenses], couple of filters [to protect the fantastic lens on the camera + helping in taking better photos], a 16GB ultrafast SDHC card [since the camera can record RAW format as well as shoot HD footage], a camera bag, a LCD protector [to save the camera LCD from scratches and dust] and a new lens cap to fit the 46mm filters. Things on my 'to-buy' list are an extra battery - which is always good to have - especially if you are travelling; and a wide angle lens so I can take super wide angle photos {this one will obviously wait since it is bloody expensive}. I took a couple of test photos and love the results. I'll take a few pics later tonight and put them up.I had a fantastic meeting with Ian for 'The Moments In Between'. It was basically to get accurate information about the adoption process, so that when we develop one of the scenes for the movie we are not putting something out there that is not accurate or disseminate misinformation. We had the meeting at Ponsonby Food Court and I decided to try out some Mexican/Mayan food. Lovely food but not good value for money at all - they focus too much on presentation and not enough on quanitity. The whole idea of eating at a food court is to get value for money - if I wanted to spend that much money I would eat at a proper restaurant. Nice taste but just not enough of it. Skip the mexican place if you do go to that food court - there are better mexican outlets that are not so skimpy on their servings.
Later,
Amit
